We apologize for the quality of the footage found here. While not up to our usual standards, these programs are still very watchable. Although we had positioned our cameras in the correct place, with respect to the sun, we were required by the chairperson to move to the exact opposite side of the ring. Hence, the shadows and glare.
The Awards of Merit is really not worth watching, at all. We included it here to provide the complete (or as complete as we could get) picture of the event. The judge decided it would be better to line all of the competitors up in front of the camera. Although we requested to either have them stand on the opposite side of the ring or allow us to move, all of our suggestions were met with less than accepting responses.
As a film, production, and broadcast company accustomed to working with individuals, corporations, networks, and organizations looking for the highest quality at affordable pricing we have instituted a new policy when working with canine clubs. That is, our on-site director will determine the best place for the camera/s and associated equipment. If his / her determination does not meet with the needs of the club, we will gladly discuss alternatives. However, should the alternatives not be conducive to high quality production, and no other agreements can be reached, our director will instruct the crew to pack up. An invoice for expenses will be sent to the club with a full remittance due within 10 calendar days.
